Discount Wedding, Value Package Requirements


Down Payments

    FountainGlenn will require a 50% down payment and a signed contract to reserve an event date. The remaining 50% of the contract fee is due no later than 30 days prior to the event date. Part or all of the cleaning/damage deposit will be refunded within a week after the event once it is determined that no excess cleaning is required and no damage to the property occurred.

Security Deposit

    FountainGlenn will require a $249.00 security deposit. $79.00 of this security deposit is a non-refundale cleaning fee. Once it is determined that no excess cleaning is required and no damage to the property occurred, the remaining security deposit will be refunded within 30-days after the event.

Smoking

    No smoking is allowed inside FountainGlenn. A designated smoking area and disposal of smoking items will be provided outside. Smoking in the building will result in forfeiture of the entire security deposit. Clean-up of cigarette butts around the exterior of building will result in a clean-up fee.

Decorations

    In order to maintain the appearance of the facility, FountainGlenn will not allow any items to be attached directly to the walls or ceilings of the facility. No staples, tacks, nails, tape or any other items may be used to attach decorations to the interior walls and ceilings or to the exterior of the building. All decorations must be freestanding.

Candles

    No candles will be allowed unless they are contained properly in order to avoid all fire hazards and to protect carpeting from dripping wax. Tapered candles must be secure in candleholders with necessary precautions taken not to drip on furnishings or floors. All candles are to be carefully managed. FountainGlenn reserves the right to remove any candles it deems to be unsafe.

Alcohol

    All alcohol must be served by a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) certified bartender provided by FountainGlenn. There is no exception to this rule. A TABC bartender will be required if alcohol is being served as part of a catering package provided by FountainGlenn or if the client is providing their own alcoholic beverages. FountainGlenn requires that a police officer be present at all events where alcohol is being served. The cost of the officer will be at the client’s expense. Beer kegs and all other containers likely to leak water are not allowed inside the building unless protective liners are in place. Proper movement of beer kegs is required, any damage to carpet or tile caused by sliding beer kegs across the floor will be charged to the client.

Service Coordination Fees

    Unlike most venues, FountainGlenn does not charge any additional service fees. Sales tax is 8.25%. FountainGlenn is not responsible for paying gratuities to caterers, bartenders and/or service personnel, this is traditionally an optional cost paid by the bride and groom.

Outside Vendors

    All outside vendors that will be working at FountainGlenn must be pre-approved in writing before the day of the event. If the client is contracting an outside vendor for music, catering, flowers, tents, rentals, set-up, clean-up or any other service, FountainGlenn will need to know this in advance. The client will be responsible for any damage caused by these outside vendors. We will charge a $99.00, non-refundable kithen fee if FountainGlenn catering is not used. FountainGlenn has a list of approved vendors that are reputable and will be welcomed in our facility. Please let us know if you need help finding additional services or vendors.

Access

    FountainGlenn will be accessible only for the time reserved for your event. Early arrival and staying after the event for set-up and clean up is not allowed unless written permission is given by FountainGlenn before the day of the event. Please coordinate with us if extensive time for set-up or clean up is needed. We will accommodate your needs as best we can considering other scheduled events. We suggest that you make sure there is an adequate time cushion between when your rental time begins and your event starts. Extra tables, tents and other rental items not provided by FountainGlenn need to be delivered and picked up on the day of the event during the hours booked unless special arrangements have been made in writing with FountainGlenn prior to the event date.

Clean Up

    Birdseed, bubbles or real flower petals may be used outside of facility. (Please no rice or synthetic flower petals.) All items must be removed on the same day of the event, no later than ending time of event. This includes flowers, linens, dishes, candles, etc. To avoid deductions from the cleaning/security deposit, all areas used, inside and out are to be left clean of all debris (this includes cigarette butts.)

    FountainGlenn is not responsible for items left on the grounds or in the building.
